dust2 is a co-lab between two danish producers/djs, Andreas B and Johannes Astrup. Both are founders of the Copenhagen-based event group, Seaworld Tekno Klub, responsible for several techno parties and rave events in and around the danish capital. dust2 is inspired by old school 90s techno sounds and the booming contemporary fast paced techno scene of Copenhagen. dust2 is minimalist techno with a focus on rhythm and groove, power and ravey repetition.

The first release of the slim, pale and dusty duo dust2 is a double A-side, with both sides cut at a neck-breaking 140 BPM. Sleep Twitch rumbles away in a train-like and trancy groove, accompanied by a jumpy stab as the single anchoring melodic element. Force Quit is a low-fi sounding techno jam juggernaut, with a restlessly rumbling percussion pattern and a noisy synthline, that slowly builds up to an excessively aggressive climax. To be released digitally worldwide in june 2019, “Sleep Twitch / Force Quit” will be the debut title by dust2 and also the first release on the newly founded imprint Seaworld Records.
