Following the debut in summer 2019, the second release from the restless duo dust2 takes a harder, but also somewhat more melodic direction, than the initial relentless release. The genre is still “techtrance” - 140 BPM techno, with sharp, clicking kicks and bumping basslines, but the two new tracks have gone down a more layered and complex route.

Due Diligence is built around a stabbing synth-lead with a retro vibe somewhat reminiscent of Joey Beltram. The track is slowly building up over 3 minutes until it collapses into a purely chaotic breakdown of noise, only to return even stronger than before.

Diversion is dust2’s most melodic track so far, with a hypnotic modular synth sine lead, rolling back and forth between a bouncy bassline and the ever throbbing kicks. “Due Diligence / Diversion” is to be released digitally worldwide on the 20th of february 2020 on Seaworld Records.
